TV, VCR, Audio & Microwave Oven Servicing

We are an independant local service Company carrying out the servicing of Colour TV's, Video Cassette Recorders, Hi-Fi's, In Car Audio Equipment and Microwave Ovens. We do not have any retail connections of any type and do no retailing ourselves, our sole occupation being that of repairs.

We are based in our Workshops in Bury St. Edmunds which consists of a Reception Area, behind which are the TV/VCR, Audio and Microwave Workshops. We are outside the town centre of Bury St. Edmunds and consequently don't suffer from any parking restrictions for Customers.

We provide servicing facilities for both Workshop and Home Service Repairs throughout the IP and CB Postcode Areas with some also in the CO Postcode Area. The Area approximately is the Counties of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire which is the middle section of East Anglia. We carry this work out for Manufacturers direct as an Approved Service Company , Retailers Service Contracts and also for the General Public. We have the facilities in most cases to carry out full In Warranty Work, extended Warranty as well as normal chargeable work.

Due to our many connections with Manufacturers we can provide a service facility on most makes and types of equipment. Makes currently being covered are Aiwa, Akai, Akura, Alba, Beko, Binatone, Blaupunkt, Bush, Cascade, Cathay, Daewoo, Dainichi, Decca, Ferguson, Goldstar, Goodmans, Hinari, Hitachi, ITT, JVC, Kenwood, LG, Mitsubishi, NEI, Nikkai, Nokia, Orion, Osaki, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer, Pye, Roadstar, Samsung, Sansui, Sanyo, Sharp, Sony, Tatung, Technics, Thomson, Toshiba and Yamaha.

We would be more than pleased to expand our direct Trade connections and can provide links through to the rest of the United Kingdom for consumer electronic servicing via our Membership of the Power Electronic Service Network for which we act as the local service Company for the areas of IP and CB Postcodes.

As warranty arrangements do vary between Manufacturers it is always advisable initially to contact your Retailer first. If, however, this is not possible or is proving difficult to get a repair done then we will take up the repair and arrange with the Manufacturer concerned to carry the work out for you.

With Extended Warranty Policies it is always advisable to contact the Insurance Company first as it is necessary for us to have an authority number in most instances to carry out a repair.

With normal chargeable work we are only to pleased to provide an estimate for the repair to your equipment or to work to a pre-agreed cost limitation basis.

Technical advice on repairability etc is freely available wherever possible.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday 09.00hrs to 17.00hrs with Saturdays 09.00hrs to 13.00hrs. Home Service Calls are carried out Monday to Friday only between 09.00hrs to 17.00hrs. There is a standard charge of 15.00 plus VAT payable for all Home Service Calls within the area we serve. This is in addition to any repair costs incurred.

All charges are based on an hourly rate of 20.00 plus Parts excluding VAT.

It is hoped over the next few months to develop this website to include many items of interest and to provide links to connected items and websites of particular interest. We may even put pictures in it!!!
